Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the carrots. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the maple syrup and stir to combine.
  3. Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat them in the maple glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
