Broccoli Salad with Chili Flakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped into small florets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)

Instructions:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  2. Drain the broccoli and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes.
  4. Toss the broccoli with the dressing until evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the salad and serve chilled.
