Brussels Sprouts Gratin with Chili Flakes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Steam the Brussels sprouts until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add the steamed Brussels sprouts to the cream sauce and mix well to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
