Brussels Sprouts Gratin with Chili Flakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Steam the Brussels sprouts until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the steamed Brussels sprouts to the cream sauce and mix well to coat.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
