Recipe for Vegetarian Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 can of black beans
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and sauté until the vegetables are soft.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
- Stir in the black beans, kidney beans, and diced tomatoes with their juices.
- Bring the chili to a simmer and let it cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Serve the vegetarian chili hot with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
