Shrimp Tacos Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup of shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Salsa and sour cream for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture and add to the skillet.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, then topping with cabbage, avocado, cilantro, salsa, and sour cream.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
