Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until well combined.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Divide the cooked rice into bowls and top with the teriyaki chicken.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
