Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
- Divide the cooked rice into bowls and top with the teriyaki chicken.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
