Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Cooked pasta or rice for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and shrimp to the skillet, cooking until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the white wine, chicken broth, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice to the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer and reduce by half.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce.
