New York Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter.

  3. Press mixture onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  6. Stir in sour cream and pour mixture over crust.

  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set.

  8. Remove from oven and let cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
