Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges for serving
  • Sour cream or salsa for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  3. Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
  4. Assemble tacos by layering shrimp, cabbage, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and avocado on each tortilla.
  5. Serve with lime wedges, sour cream, and salsa on the side. Enjoy!
