Shepherd’s Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion, carrots, and garlic, and cook until vegetables are soft.

  2. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Add the frozen peas and simmer for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  5. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are golden brown.
