Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
- Cut chicken into bite-size pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, black pepper, ginger, and salt.
- Pour yogurt mixture over chicken, making sure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill chicken until fully cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and jalapeno and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in paprika and cumin, then add tomato sauce and cream. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add grilled chicken to skillet and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro before serving.
