Ingredients:
- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Add the marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large baking dish, layer the cooked ziti pasta, meat sauce, and grated mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Repeat the layers until all of the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the baked ziti cool for a few minutes before serving.
