Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Arrange the sliced pears in the baking dish and pour the butter and sugar mixture over them.
  5. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves over the pears.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, and salt together.
  7. Add the milk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  8. Pour the batter over the pears in the baking dish.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pears are tender.
