Ingredients:
- 1 acorn squash, halved and seeds removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush the inside of the acorn squash with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped basil on top of the squash halves.
- Place the acorn squash halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes, or until the squash is tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
