Quinoa Roast with Chili Flakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove any bitterness.
  2. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the quinoa. Reduce heat to low and cover, simmer for 15-20 minutes or until quinoa is tender.
  3. Once quinoa is cooked, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add cooked quinoa to the skillet and stir in chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish or main course.
