Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and place the pie crust in a tart pan.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Pour this mixture over the turkey and vegetables in the skillet.
- Cook and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the turkey mixture.
- Transfer the turkey mixture to the prepared tart crust and spread it out evenly.
- Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove the tart from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
