Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and place the pie crust in a tart pan.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Pour this mixture over the turkey and vegetables in the skillet.
  5. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the turkey mixture.
  6. Transfer the turkey mixture to the prepared tart crust and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove the tart from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
