Ingredients:

  • 4 large leeks
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Trim the roots and dark green parts of the leeks, leaving only the white and light green parts.
  2. Cut the leeks lengthwise and rinse under cold water to remove any dirt or sand.
  3. Steam the leeks for 10 minutes until they are tender.
  4. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add the steamed leeks to the pan and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
