Ingredients:

– 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
– 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, sage, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Roll out one of the pie crusts and place it in a pie dish.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the apples. Crimp the edges to seal the pie.
  6. Make several slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.
  7. Bake the apple pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Allow the pie to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Apple Pie with Sage!
