Cinnamon Baked Apples Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core the apples and remove the top 1/4 inch of the apple skin with a sharp knife.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and raisins.
  4. Stuff each apple with the mixture, pressing down firmly to ensure it is tightly packed.
  5. Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
