Lentil Soup with Chili Flakes Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried lentils
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion, chopped carrots, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the dried lentils and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
- Season with chili flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
