Carrot Stuffing with Maple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the grated carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the breadcrumbs and mix well to combine.
- Pour in the maple syrup and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
- Serve hot as a delicious side dish or stuffing for poultry.
