Ingredients:
- 6-7 large baking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- 1 package pre-made pie crusts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugars, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and sage. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
- Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Fill the crust with the apple mixture.
- Top the pie with the second pie crust. Seal the edges and make a few slits on top for venting.
