Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion slices for toppings
- Salt and pepper
- Ketchup and mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat grill or skillet on medium-high heat.
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal parts and shape into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook patties on grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes each side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
- Toast hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until light golden brown.
- Assemble the cheeseburgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
- Add lettuce, tomato, and onion slices on top of the patty.
- Squirt ketchup and mustard on the top bun then place it on top of the toppings to finish off the cheeseburger.
- Serve hot and enjoy your classic cheeseburger!
