Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
