Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent.
  4. Add garlic and mushrooms, and cook until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Slowly add beef broth while stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce.
  7. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the beef back to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
