Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add garlic and mushrooms, and cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add beef broth while stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and add the beef back to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
