Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Butter 4 ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together.
  4. Stir in the sugar and salt until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs and egg yolks, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  6. Gradually add the flour and mix until smooth.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the ramekins.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  9. Let the lava cakes cool for a few minutes before serving.
