Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 8 oz linguine pasta
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
- Reduce the heat and add parsley, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
- Cook linguine according to package instructions.
- Serve shrimp scampi over linguine and garnish with additional parsley.
