Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 8 oz linguine pasta

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with white wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  6. Reduce the heat and add parsley, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  8. Cook linguine according to package instructions.
  9. Serve shrimp scampi over linguine and garnish with additional parsley.
