Vegetarian Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 package of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook Lasagna Noodles:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

3. Prepare Filling:

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, grated mozzarella, grated Parmesan, thawed spinach, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

4. Assemble Lasagna:

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top. Spread a layer of the cheese and spinach mixture on top of the noodles. Repeat this layering process two more times, ending with a layer of sauce on top.

5. Bake:

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

6. Serve:

Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious vegetarian lasagna!
