Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of chicken thighs
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of pepper
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken thighs in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Carefully place the chicken thighs in the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fried chicken from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
