Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of white beans
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Drain and rinse the white beans, then transfer them to a baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the maple syrup, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and diced onion.
  4. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the white beans, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. If using bacon, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the beans.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the beans are tender and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
