Ingredients:

  • 1 cedar plank
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent it from burning on the grill.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillet on the cedar plank and brush the olive oil mixture over the top of the salmon.
  5. Place the cedar plank on the grill and close the lid. Cook the salmon for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the cedar plank from the grill and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy!
