Ingredients:
- 5-6 apples, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add diced apples and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle chili flakes, cinnamon, salt, and pepper over the apples.
- Pour vegetable broth into the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the apples are tender.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of chili flakes on top.
