Apple Stew with Chili Flakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add diced apples and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Sprinkle chili flakes, cinnamon, salt, and pepper over the apples.
  5. Pour vegetable broth into the pan and bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  7. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  8. Serve hot with a sprinkle of chili flakes on top.
