Ingredients:
- 8 ounces pasta (such as fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the garlic and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until the mushrooms are tender.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon over the mushrooms and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the mushroom mixture. Toss to combine.
- Serve the mushroom pasta with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
