Mushroom Pasta with Cinnamon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces pasta (such as fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the garlic and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the mushrooms and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the mushroom mixture. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve the mushroom pasta with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
