Broccoli Pie with Garlic Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust, homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Spread the broccoli mixture over the crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the pie.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the pie is set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
