Broccoli Pie with Garlic Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust, homemade or store-bought
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Spread the broccoli mixture over the crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the pie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the pie is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
