Turkey Soup with Pepper


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups diced cooked turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced turkey and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
